We started ou ecuadorian food adventire with a fantastic dinner in Quito. Queso on chips to start! We had the opportunity to try a shrimp cevice, prepared the ecuadorian way. The cevice is boiled, as opposed to the Peruvian one were the lemon marinade cooks the fish. It is still served cold. We then continued with a delicious guayaquil style lamb stew. Simply perfect!
